Branden has been active in the golf development industry for over fourteen years and continues to study golf courses and architecture around the world. He regularly attends the latest industry meetings and researches new methods in design, construction, and management of golf courses. Branden is dedicated to expanding the game of golf and the industry by educating clients throughout the world on proper course and project development. His passion & focus over the past years has been introducing golf architecture to emerging golf markets such as Central & Eastern Europe, and throughout Asia.

Branden holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in landscape architecture from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, and a prestigious Master of Science in Golf Course Architecture from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, a world renowned design program that has been given accreditation from the European Institute of Golf Course Architects.

Along with his design experience, Branden has worked extensively in the construction and management side of golf, and has worked on construction projects headed by noted architects such as Tim Liddy and Pete Dye. He has been a golf course construction superintendent, head course superintendent, and general club manager. Branden is a member of American Society of Landscape Architects, Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, National Golf Foundation, and United States Golf Association

Branden formed his own company in 1997 focusing on golf course design, construction management, and consultation services. In June 2001 Branden joined the team of JRL, pllc, Landscape Architects. While there, he formed Golf Design Studio, a golf design division within the firm. Golf Design Studio focused on the three major components within golf design; Course Architecture, Land Planning, and Landscape Architecture. In 2003, Branden took the next step in establishing Golf Design Studio as an international design firm by putting together a team of experienced golf professionals from the design, planning, construction, and management industries to create an internationally recognized design firm.

Branden’s love for the game and dedication to the advancement of golf and quality golf developments drives him to achieve a level of excellence that far exceeds clients’ dreams.

John Ribes offers the breadth and depth of a 40-year career dedicated strictly to landscape architecture. Always inspired by the intricacies of landscapes and buildings, John’s thoughtful manner has been instrumental in establishing the growth, reputation and credibility of Golf Design Studio.

John’s vast expertise in construction technology, water features and the blending of golf courses with the landscape has launched the company into new areas of landscape architecture and enabled them to implement innovative projects beyond the scope of traditional landscape design. Always inspired by a challenge, John’s creativity is sparked by natural landscapes that require carefully planned design.

John has worked closely on projects with many of the best golf architects such as Arthur Hills, and Greg Norman, and together has created excellent golf venues. Land Planning, Landscape Architecture, Golf Course and Clubhouse Design, Environmental Responsiveness, and related technical services are a part of his involvement. The ability to visualize and integrate all these elements is essential to John’s design approach. Projects that John has worked on include: Tiburon Golf Club, Doral Beach and Golf Resort, Pelican Sound, and The Club at Pelican Bay.

Born in New Orleans, John achieved his degree in landscape architecture from Louisiana State University. He is a fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architecture, the profession’s most prestigious organization. Recognized by clients and peers alike as an expert in the specialized field of landscape architecture, John resides in Naples with his wife Jacqueline. They have six children and nine grandchildren.

J. Roland “Jack” Lieber, is committed to the design and management of all aspects of our built and natural environments, applying art and science to achieve the best of our given resources.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture from Cornell University and a Masters degree in Architecture from the University Of Pennsylvania Graduate School Of Fine Arts. Additionally, Jack’s graduate work continued the dual road of Horticulture and Architecture with advanced studies in the field of civic design and landscape architecture. He is a registered Landscape Architect with the State of Florida, is a Fellow in the American Society of Landscape Architects and a member of The American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta.

Jack came to Florida in 1968, and, in 1970, established his own practice in Fort Lauderdale. Eight years later, his firm became consulting landscape architects to Westing¬house Communities of Naples, Inc. and their Pelican Bay community. Over the years he has been involved with some of the largest and most comprehensive community development projects in Southwest Florida. Jack has been the recipient of numerous National and State Awards recognizing his contributions to the built and natural environment. Some of these projects include Pelican Bay, Wyndemere, Kensington Park, The Vineyards of Naples, Gulf Bay Developments, Pelican Landing in Bonita Springs; and Gateway in Fort Myers. His responsibilities have covered the full scope of services offered in landscape design, planning and management for these communities. Various phases of these projects continue.
